To ensure you get your purchases right at your doorstep, TJ Hughes have a variety of delivery options that you can choose from.

Their click and collect- in store option enables you to collect your purchases across 20 sites in the U.K. For this, you will only be charged £1.99. If you opt for this delivery option, you will get your order within 5 working days.

You may also opt to use the standard delivery on small items. You will be charged £3.99 for the delivery of small items to Mainland UK and $8.99 for delivery to Highlands, Northern Ireland and Isles. You should get your order within 3 days.

For the Express delivery on small items delivery option, you will be charged £5.99 for the delivery of small items to the UK Mainland. Please note that this delivery option is not available to Highlands, Northern Ireland and Isles. It is also not available around the Easter holidays, Christmas week, or Bank Holidays. Estimated delivery date will be provided as you checkout.

If you purchase large items, you can opt to ship via Standard delivery- on large items. It will cost you £9.99 - $19.99 based on the dimensions and weight. You should get your purchases in 7-10 days. Please note that express delivery is not available on large items.

If you choose to have your items delivered using the large items delivery option, you will be charged £9.99- £39.99 depending on the dimensions and weights of your products. Also, your items may take between 3 days to 3 weeks to be delivered. If you are located in remote regions, confirm if this shipping method is available.

For furniture items, you will be charged £19.99- £49.99 for mattresses and beds. This may take up to 2 weeks.

If you are located in the Isles of Scilly, the Highlands, BFPO addresses, Shetland Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland, Northern or overseas, they may not be able to deliver furniture or large items.

Also, they do not deliver on bank and public holidays.

Unfortunately, international delivery services are currently unavailable.

TJ Hughes Returns Policy

TJ Hughes understand that you may want to return an item purchased for various reasons. Their return process is not only simple but is also convenient for you.

Although exclusions apply, you should return a product within 14 days of the delivery date. The products must be returned in their original state. If you received a faulty or damaged item, they will refund the delivery costs that you incurred. To ensure the item is not damaged in the return process, ensure you package it properly, failure to which your return or refund may be refused. They offer a courier collection service. However, it is only available from Monday- Friday. Once they receive your product and confirm that it is in perfect shape, they will make the refund. 

For non-faulty items that you would like to return, please contact the customer service team for assistance. While they will send a courier to collect the item, the cost of the return will be charged on the refund amount.

Personalized items such as furniture are not eligible for returns.

Also, jewellery, underwear, lingerie, swimwear, hats, beddings including mattresses and skincare products are not eligible for returns due to hygiene and health reasons.

If you receive a faulty item, contact TJ Hughes via email at webenquiries@tjhughes.co.uk. If the item is faulty, they will send the courier service provider for a pick-up. However, you can send the parcel via Royal Mail or any other delivery service provider. They will reimburse you £10. However, please note any value above this will not be reimbursed.

They may arrange for an item to be repaired or inspected. In this instance, please send a copy of the in-store receipt or proof of purchase. If you fail to prove that you bought the item from them, they may charge you for the repair. Some manufacturers may pick the item for repair which may lead to varying repair turnaround time frames. Please note that TJ Hughes will not accept any losses claimed during this period.

If you wish to return your product after 6 months of purchase, only a credit, exchange or repair will be offered. An exchange will be offered subject to item availability while a credit would only be allowed for redemption online. Please note that the credit has a 12-month expiry time frame after which it cannot be re-issued. Also, the value of the credit may be lower than the original purchase of your orders.

For any item that you return as faulty, please obtain proof of delivery. This will be required if your parcel does not reach. In an instance where you do not have proof of delivery, a refund will not be issued if the item is lost in the return process.  

Please note that products should be used for domestic use only. If planning to use them for business purposes, ensure that they are covered by an appropriate insurance plan. Warranties exclude the liability for the fitness of goods used for business purposes.

Once an order has been placed, items cannot be added or removed. If you wish to place new orders for additional items, you will be required to start a new order.
