Austin Reed was founded in 1900 as the first menswear retailer to make ready-to-wear clothes with the same quality as the made-to-measure tailors.

A visit to their 20,000 square foot flagship store at 100 Regent Street in London reveals two floors of ready-to-wear tailoring, a well appointed 60 foot wall of shirts, Bespoke suiting, and Q Hirewear.

In addition to their Men’s suits and casual wear they launched a Women’s line in the 1970’s. Their women’s line includes dresses, quality suits and knitwear.

They also offer quality accessories including shoes, handbags, cufflinks, and more.

Austin Reed is a partner with Walking with the Wounded (WWTW), which supports programs for wounded service personnel, to train them in the skills and qualifications to find long-term employment. Austin Reed helps support WWTW by partnering in fundraising events including donating money from the sale of specially designed accessories.

In addition to this work they are committed to minimizing the negative impact left on the environment. By partnering with Sedex to help ensure they minimize waste within the company and using alternatives to products created through the inhumane and cruel treatment of animals.
