About Cure & Simple
Working in a state of the art facility which started out as a tractor shed, Cure and Simple make everything by hand on their own farm site. All of their pork is sourced from free range and outdoor reared pigs, so they’ve enjoyed a happy life in the fresh air. The diet the pigs are fed is superior too, and this enhances the flavour of the bacon. Pork from the same pig farmer is provided to many of the top UK restaurants and hotels as it’s so sought-after due to its quality.
Once the pork is received by Cure and Simple they use fresh herbs and spices to complement the flavour and apply a dry cure mixture. The bacon is then left to cure by air for up to 12 days. This resting period allows the moisture to evaporate and for the curing to take place. The bacon is then hung for a further 12 days to allow the flavours to fully develop.
Once the process is complete, each piece is sliced up ready to be sent out for the various bacon subscriptions offered by Cure and Simple.
Curing bacon means that it doesn’t have to be refrigerated and once its been vacuum-sealed, it will stay completely fresh until opening. This makes it possible to receive bacon by post, delivering a delicious treat through your letterbox.

Cure and Simple offer a number of different bacon subscription packages, with weekly, fortnightly and monthly options. There’s no contract and you can cancel or pause your subscription whenever you want - if you can bring yourself to stop receiving scrumptious artisan bacon!
