About Cambridge Satchel Co

Cambridge Satchel Co was founded in Cambridge in 2008, by Julie Deane and her mother Freda. All they had was a budget of only £600 and a dream to make enough money to send Julie's children to a better school. They started with three bags a week, but in order to meet the huge customer demand, in 2011 they opened its own workshop just outside Leicester in the UK.

Aside from handmade leather bags for both men and women, Cambridge Satchel Co offers some care products, as well as a wide range of accessories and gifts (purses, wallets, key charms, gift cards, and more). In 2016, the brand partnered with Brazilian super brand, Melissa, and launched a collection of non-leather, vegan-friendly satchels.

Personalise your Cambridge Satchel Co bag and accessory

You can use Cambridge Satchel Co embossing service to personalise your purchase. Emboss your initials or one of the available symbols on to your bag or accessory to make it even more special. The font recommended for all bags is Edinburgh and for accessories Times New Roman. The charge is £7 per letter (upper and lower case), with the maximum charge of £28. They also offer complimentary embossing of their bike logo. Please note that not all products are embossable and that if your product is embossed, it can't be returned.

Cambridge Satchel Co offers a one-year guarantee. If within this period you find fault with your product, they'll repair or replace it with no charge.
