And to make pet ownership more planet-friendly, the company uses insect protein with other natural ingredients. This reduces the environmental paw print while still providing your pets with tasty and healthy food. The food is free of fillers, grains and ingredients that you may not understand, especially those that will not benefit your pet.

Aardvark Delivery

Aardvark ships in the UK including remote areas such as Northern Ireland, Highland postcodes, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Scilly Isles. Currently, the company does not ship outside the UK and charges delivery based on the weight of the products. You will pay £2.75 for the 850g & 1.5 kg bag, £4.99 for the 6kg and enjoy free delivery for the 12 kg bag. Also, if your order is over £49, the company will not charge you any delivery fee. You should get your Aardvark order within 3- 5 working days.

Aardvark Returns Policy

Aardvark does not accept returns. If your pet does not like the food, please donate them to a local shelter. If you experience any issues with your Aardvark orders and products, please reach to the team via email at help@aardvark.store.

Aardvark aims at controlling the environmental damage caused by the meat industry. The environmental damage in the US alone caused by the meat industry amounts to 64 million tonnes of CO2, which is not sustainable at all. By opting to feed your pet Aardvark products, you contribute to creating a sustainable environment.

Why is Aardvark pet food more expensive than pet food derived from animal food?

Aardvark is dedicated to making environmentally friendly pet food. The company uses the black soldier fly which is 10x more expensive than the meat derivatives. Although more expensive, the black soldier fly is high in protein. It also provides essential amino acids for your furry friends. Also, meat may be cheaper. However, the detrimental effects on the environment will cost more in the long term.

Can I feed my pets a plant-based diet for a more sustainable planet?

You can feed your dog plant-based food. However, you will put it at a higher risk of developing nutritional efficiencies. Cats should not be fed plant-based diets. This is because their digestive systems do not extract plant-based proteins. Cats also require taurine which cannot be derived by eating a plant-based diet.
