About Adnams

Adnams is proud of its long and rich history. The beer has been brewed in the very same place in Southwold for nearly seven centuries! The earliest record of beer being brewed there is from 1345. In 1872, brothers George and Adnams bought the brewery. 18 years later, in 1890, Adnams and Co. was established. After 80 years, the brewery was enlarged and modernised. The first Adnams store was opened in 1987. Today you can find Adnams stores and pubs in several cities across the UK. It also exports a number of its beers and spirits around the world, so you can find them not only in the UK and Europe, but in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, China, South Korea, and many other countries as well.

Adnams makes amazing beers and spirits from grain-to-glass, but offers some gifts and kitchenware, as well. At its stores and pubs, you can find anything from beers and ciders, over different types of wines, to spirits such as whiskey, vodka, and liqueur. And if you need a gift, check out its espresso cups or coolers, or buy one of its sets. It also offers different mugs, glasses, bottle openers, keyrings, tote bags, and more.

Out of the available beers, the most popular is its spooky citrus pale ale, Ghost Ship beer (both the 4.5% and 0.5% abv). And when it comes to spirits, everyone’s favourite is Copper House Dry Gin followed by Copper House Pink Gin with added raspberries to create vibrant fruity aromas.

Adnams UK delivery

Adnams offers FREE Standard delivery (three to five working days ) for all orders £80 upwards. If your order is under £80, you’ll be charged £4.99. You can expect your order between 7 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Next Day delivery is available which costs £7.99 (no matter what your order value is). To qualify for the Next Working Day delivery, you must place your order before 12 (noon). Gift Vouchers and Tour Gift Cards are delivered free of charge but are not available for Next Working Day delivery. Orders are not delivered on Saturday or Sunday. 

The order cannot be delivered unless signed. You must check all your items before signing for them. If your order is damaged, you should refuse the delivery and write ‘Damaged' on the package note underneath your signature. If the order doesn't arrive within 10 days of ordering, contact Adnams customer service via email.

Adnams overseas delivery

At the moment, Adnams do not offer overseas delivery. If you'd want to know more about where to find Adnams in your country, contact its customer service via email to get information about its stockists around the world.

Adnams cancellations policy

If you'd want to cancel or amend your order, you should contact Adnams customer service via email as soon as possible. Prepare your order number and the date you placed your order. If your order cannot be canceled or amended, you should simply refuse the order once it arrives and it'll be reprocessed or refunded as appropriate.

Adnams returns policy

If any of the products from your order are missing, damaged, or faulty, you should contact Adnams customer service via email or phone within 24 hours of delivery. They'll arrange for a courier to collect products at your convenience and a refund or replacement will be issued within 14 days of goods arriving at the Adnams warehouse. Goods will be delivered using the Next Working Day delivery service.

Adnams sustainability story

One of Adnams company values is producing great products without costing the Earth. It tends to run its business in a responsible, sustainable way and is always looking for ways to minimise its carbon footprint and impact on the environment. 

Adnams was the first brewery in the UK to complete a full carbon life-cycle assessment on its beer range. Its carbon emissions have gone down by 48% since 2008. It has lowered its carbon emissions by using electric vans and adapting some of its lorries to run off bio gas. 

Adnams is ‘zero to landfill’. Its brewery and distillery waste is either diverted to cattle feed or sent to an anaerobic digester where it’s turned into energy. Its cans are made with up to 90% recycled aluminium (while the UK average is 70%), and glass bottles have been light-weighted by -38%.
