Honestly Tasty is a plant-based food start-up founded in Haringey, in the UK. It was founded by Mike, a vegan who couldn't come up against his love for cheese. Later, his sister Beth joined him in running the company. Today, Honestly Tasty offers a range of authentic cheese alternatives that are available not only in its online shop but via different stockists, as well. All products are ethically sourced and 100% suitable for vegans. At the moment, Honestly Tasty donates 2% of its profits to charity.

Honestly Tasty Delivery

Honestly Tasty delivers its orders to the majority of mainland UK. Your order's minimal value must be at least £20. You'll be charged £5 for the delivery. Orders are delivered in well-insulated packaging, via DPD’s fast delivery service. To see the full list of postcodes where delivery isn't currently available, refer to the 'Shipping Policy' on the Honestly Tasty website. Orders are delivered between Tuesday and Friday. You can choose the delivery date at checkout (for up to a couple of months in advance). Once your chosen date comes closer, you'll receive a notification regarding the status of your order.

Honestly Tasty Returns Policy

If any of the products from your order isn't the one you've ordered or is faulty or damaged, you should contact Honestly Tasty within 5 days of the package being received. Due to the perishable nature of the products, returns aren't accepted, however, you may be asked to provide images of defective or incorrect items to support your claims. If your refund request is approved, you'll be notified via email and a refund will be applied to your original method of payment. What packaging does Honestly Tasty use and how to dispose of it?

Orders are delivered in well-insulated packaging that will allow the products to remain below 5°C for one day and below 8°C for two days. Unwrap the cheese and refrigerate it in a sealed container as soon as possible. Ice packs can be reused or you can simply let the water defrost and recycle the packaging. The boxes and most of the packing materials are recyclable. Honestly Tasty is working on making all product packaging recyclable.

You can order Honestly Tasty cheese from its online shop or you can refer to the ‘Stockist’ page on its website. There you’ll see a map with all of the places where you can get yourself some tasty plant-based cheese made by the Honestly Tasty team.

How long does cheese from Honestly Tasty last?

Veganzola, Shamembert, and Insteaddah Cheddah last for up to 12 days, while Herbivoursin lasts 10 days. You can freeze any of the cheeses for up to 3 months. Once unfrozen, Shamemberts should be cooked straight away for 22 mins at 180 degrees.

Does cheese from Honestly Tasty contain gluten or nuts?

All of the cheeses from Honestly Tasty are gluten-free, however, they all contain nuts. 

Does Honestly Tasty offer anything else besides cheese?

Yes, in its online shop, Honestly Tasty also offers relishes, flatbreads, and a No Truffle, Truffle Oil.
