While some retailers publicise the fact that they offer military discounts there are many more that don’t but will if asked. Many larger high street sellers may not ‘officially’ offer discounts but when asked they are often willing to give a staff discount or match the student discount if they have one. Smaller shops and independent retailers can often use discretion so it can be as much to do with how nice you are to them!
